Claims Assistant Role

  • We are currently seeking a skilled professional to join our claims team in Brisbane.
  • This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
  • You will provide administrative support to our Queensland claims team who manage liability, motor and property claims on behalf of clients.
">Key Responsibilities">
  1. Lodging client incidents/claims into systems including uploading documents against correct claim records
  2. Completing administrative tasks quickly and accurately with attention to detail into databases
  3. Providing administrative support
  4. Compliance with health and safety policy
  5. Growing understanding of insurance and developing relationships with clients and stakeholders
  6. Liaising with clients, claimants, and service providers
  7. Preparing correspondence to assist the claims team
  8. Regularly reviewing and updating claims information as required
">Requirements">
  • Excellent customer or client service skills, with proven experience
  • Ability to enter information accurately and swiftly into databases
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels with consideration and respect for ethnicity and cultural diversity
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products to support administration requirements of the role
  • Able to manage changing priorities and accept and adapt to changes within those priorities
  • Motivated to succeed through being results oriented while maintaining client focus and a professional attitude
  • Willing to accept responsibility and accountability for own decisions and work
  • Ability to be a self-starter and be self-motivated
