Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and capable Production Supervisor to lead one of our Block Cave mining crews at Northparkes.

This role will involve guiding the crew, driving safety performance, and ensuring operational targets are met.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in underground mining and proven leadership in production environments.

  • Leading and mentoring the team to deliver safe and efficient ore production
  • Tight scheduling and maintaining high-quality output (grade, size, moisture)
  • Driving safety conversations and improving risk assessments
  • Collaboration with other teams to achieve goals
  • Mentoring and recognizing great work

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in block cave mining and a deep understanding of underground production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in block cave mining and/or sub-level cave production environments
  • Strong understanding of automated/remote loaders, crushers, and conveyors
  • A current Underground NSW Mine Supervisor Practising Certificate
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Production Supervisor role
  • At least 5 years of underground mining experience
  • First Aid, Working at Heights, security clearance, and a current Driver's Licence
