Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Vision: Provide strategic leadership to the Secondary Department, ensuring alignment with the school's Christian ethos and strategic vision.
- Act as Principal: Step into the role of Principal when required, ensuring seamless continuity of leadership.
- Child Protection: Maintain Child Protection accreditation, lead investigations, and report directly to the Principal when necessary.
- School Culture: Foster a positive, Christ-centred school culture within the Secondary Department.
- Strategic Plan Implementation: Assist in implementing the school's Strategic Plan, aligning departmental goals with the school's broader objectives.
- Staff Development: Work with Instructional Coaches to oversee professional development and provide mentorship for teaching staff.
- Curriculum Oversight: Ensure compliance with NESA standards, oversee curriculum development, and ensure a high-quality, biblically based curriculum.
- Student Wellbeing: Implement best practice wellbeing strategies across Years 7-12, fostering strong pastoral care.
- Partnerships with Parents: Strengthen staff and parent partnerships to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Operational Leadership: Make key operational decisions in consultation with the executive team, advising the Principal on issues relating to staff performance and student outcomes.
- Christian Commitment: A passionate, committed Christian who will actively promote and embody the school's Christian ethos.
- Leadership: Demonstrated high-level leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing teams.
