**Quality Control Specialist**

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Bayer Crop Science. As a key member of our production unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our agricultural chemical products.

In this role, you will perform quality control testing following Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines to ensure all products manufactured meet our high-quality standards. You will work closely with our quality team and collaborate with production and support teams to ensure timely release of bulk and packed products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of analytical and physical testing techniques, as well as experience with laboratory instrumentation. A degree in Chemistry or equivalent is required, along with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control testing of intermediate and finished products
  • Inspect and release incoming goods based on approved specifications
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation
  • Investigate non-conformances and generate solutions
  • Update laboratory documentation and reports

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experience working in a QC laboratory role
  • Knowledge of GLP and GMP principles
