A reputable workshop in the Brisbane Northside area is hiring an Automotive Technician to join a dynamic team specialising in European and 4x4 vehicles.


As an experienced Technician, you will have extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, as well as a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Vehicle Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose complex faults using industry-standard tools and equipment.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform logbook servicing and general repairs to OEM standards and above, ensuring high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control: Maintain accurate service records and documentation, adhering to strict quality control procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals, share knowledge, and provide support when needed.
  • Personal Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Manual Driver's Licence (essential)
  • Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) licence holder preferred (not essential)
  • Own tools required
  • Ability to work independently and confidently diagnose faults
  • Strong work ethic – reliable, honest, punctual
  • European vehicle experience highly regarded
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia
  • Police check and references required

About the Role:


This full-time position offers an immediate start and regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. The successful candidate will be part of a skilled and dedicated team, working together to deliver exceptional results and exceed customer expectations.
