Key Responsibilities:- Dispense medication, including chemotherapy, to patients in a safe and timely manner.
- Conduct clinical reviews of treatment orders in MOSAIQ to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Approve chemotherapy orders for preparation or supply, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Release aseptically prepared products, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Manage inventory and process pharmacy invoices, ensuring efficient and accurate financial management.
- Provide medication counselling and participate in pre-admission clinics, promoting patient education and empowerment.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to GenesisCare's governance activities, focusing on medication safety and Quality Use of Medicines.
- Ensure all administrative and documentation requirements are completed in a professional and timely manner.
- General unrestricted pharmacy registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Commitment to patient-focused pharmacy practice, prioritizing safety and quality.
- Minimum of three years of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in an oncology/haematology setting.
- Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse cultures.
- Ability to coordinate clinical pharmacy services, working independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work across all sites in the greater Sydney area, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
