Career Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cancer Nurse Consultant to join our team at GenesisCare.

About the Role: As a Cancer Nurse Consultant, you will be responsible for providing individualized and coordinated care for patients with cancer. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that treatment and care are planned and delivered in partnership with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care Coordination and Education: You will be responsible for coordinating and planning the care of patients with cancer across the continuum of care.
  • Professional Leadership and Clinical Practice: You will provide expert clinical advice to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals, and facilitate care management plans for patients who are referred to GenesisCare.
  • Research and Quality Improvement: You will contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of cancer care.
  • Clinical Service Planning and Management: You will work with our team to plan and manage clinical services to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Current Registration: You must be currently registered as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Experience and Qualifications: You must have a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience and expertise in Oncology nursing, and a postgraduate qualification or working towards in Oncology Nursing, Advanced Nursing, or similar.
  • Skills and Abilities: You must have exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
