Adelaide Airport is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join the Technology & Innovation team as a Purchasing and Administration Officer.

The successful candidate will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities essential to the seamless functioning of the Technology & Innovation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support across procurement, travel, events, and office operations to ensure these functions run efficiently.
- Raise and process purchase requisitions accurately while ensuring full compliance with established company policies and procedures.
- Verify invoices promptly and manage goods receipting to guarantee timely processing of financial transactions.
- Assist in setting up new suppliers within the finance system and maintain accurate records of third-party suppliers managed via contracts or legal instruments.
- Support travel planning by booking flights, accommodation, events, transportation, and managing related logistics for the team.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and contractors by coordinating inductions, documentation, exit sessions, and compliance requirements.
- Provide high-level administrative support to senior management, including credit card transaction processing, policy review planning, audit tracking, meeting preparation (agendas/minutes), and event organisation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience providing high-quality administrative support within a busy office environment where accuracy is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Planner) with strong organisational abilities and time management to handle multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining accuracy in financial transactions and well-organised records.
- Excellent interpersonal skills enabling rapport-building with colleagues across departments and with external partners or vendors.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear and respectful engagement with stakeholders.
- Comfort with learning new business productivity tools or technologies quickly as processes evolve.
- A strong sense of accountability and pride in contributing to shared team goals.
