Job Opportunity: Civil Draftsperson

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Draftsperson to work on designing and drafting civil projects including subdivisions, roads, earthworks, and drainage.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and designing civil engineering plans using appropriate software applications
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for document/drawing creation
  • Coordinating with various teams to ensure project completion on time and meeting client standards
  • Attending meetings with clients to analyze solutions, requirements, and present project updates and progression

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a similar role for civil sections such as earthworks, drainage, road works, and sewer/water
  • Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant Bachelor Degree
  • Thorough understanding of Australian civil design codes and regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D or 12D, and/or Microstation
  • The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
