**The Gig**

A new opportunity awaits a skilled Civil Design Draftsperson to contribute to the continued growth of the division managing public domain civil works, road detailing and building works.

Based in Sydney's Northwest or Sydney CBD, and joining the engineering design team, you will report to the Technical Director Civil Infrastructure. You'll ply your trade to craft detailed engineering plans, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and Austroads road design requirements.

**You'll be trusted with**:

- Creating precise drawings and plans using Civil 3D, Revit, and 12D software
- Collaborating with a diverse team to translate concepts into detailed drafts
- Fostering relationships with project stakeholders for collaborative success
- Managing project finances with invoicing and budgeting
- Ensuring drafting work complies with codes and regulations
- Conducting thorough reviews of drawings and rectifying any errors
- Generating 3D models for better project understanding
- Handling multiple projects, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Maintaining organised records and ensuring version control
- Resolving technical challenges and proposing innovative solutions
- Adjusting designs based on project updates and feedback

**What's In Your Toolbox?**

You are an excellent communicator, and are collaborative by nature. You have an exceptional proficiency AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, with an ability to showcase and create accurate drawings and plans. You have an eye for detail, and enjoy using your critical thinking skills, providing innovative solutions when required. You are detail orientated and take pride in your workmanship in your designs, documents and drawings

With a minimum of 5+ years in civil engineering drafting and a Certificate IV in Civil Construction Design, you bring:

- Strong technical skills in Civil 3D, Revit, and 12D software.
- Proficiency in Australian standards and Austroads.
- Coordination expertise for services locations in civil design.
- Strong technical drawing and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
