A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Gardening Equipment Specialist to join our team.

The role reports directly to the Team Leader and is responsible for maintaining council facilities and open spaces, including tree planting, landscaping, mowing and bushland maintenance of parks, gardens, reserves, roadsides, road medians and paths.

To be successful you will need:

  • Year 10 or 11, Certificate III Basic Vocational training or equivalent
  • Current medium rigid Truck Licence
  • Working with Children Check ID Card (Employee)
  • Demonstrated experience in horticultural maintenance especially mowing or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in the safe operation and maintenance of specialised horticultural equipment
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
