Job Description

As a Garden Maintenance Team Member, your role is to attend to garden beds across the Cardinia Shire portfolio - spraying, pruning, weed maintenance, general hort work. This hands-on position is perfect for those passionate about gardening and landscaping, with a dedication to outdoor work.

You will perform tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and watering. You will also mow lawns, trim edges, and care for turf areas. Additionally, you will prepare soil, mulch, and plant beds, operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, and adhere to safety protocols for a safe work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor setting
  • Basic knowledge of gardening principles and practices
  • Ability to operate gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
