Job Title: Garden Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Garden Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to garden maintenance, including hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.

This role requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and to operate water trucks for drilling, hydraulic fracturing, and oilfield operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for plants.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Horticultural Tasks
  • Assist with hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
  • Operate water trucks for drilling, hydraulic fracturing, and oilfield operations.
  • Use hand tools and power equipment safely under experienced team members.
  • Load/unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain work area cleanliness and organization.
  • Follow safety protocols for a safe working environment.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous Experience
  • Previous landscaping, gardening, or related experience is preferred.
  • Physical Abilities
  • Lift heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid Driver's license, MR, or HR Rigid license required.
  • Personal Qualities
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to high standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • White Card and Working with Children Check.
  • Ongoing safety training programs.
