We are looking for a Full-time assistant gardener that will be looking after our council portfolio. You will be required to meet up every morning at our depot in Thomastown.

**Assistant gardener role and attributes include**:

- Mowing, brush cutting lawn areas and other gardening duties such as trimming bushes, weeding, mulching and planting.
- Help the team leader
- Have attention to detail
- Have excellent customer service and manners
- Have a can do attitude
- Follow schedules and instructions
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance

Ideal previous experience may include Gardener, Greenskeeper, Grounds Maintenance Worker, Grounds Person, Grounds Worker, Grounds/Maintenance Specialist, Groundskeeper, Landscape Specialist, Landscape Technician & Outside Maintenance Worker.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thomastown, VIC 3074: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
