The Role
This is an opportunity for skilled support workers to provide hands-on assistance to participants with highly complex needs, helping them shape and improve their lives. You will be rewarded for your skills and commitment in providing consistent high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to support participants with medical needs and manual handling requirements.
- Enable participants to maximise personal growth and independence.
- Create opportunities and partnerships of support that encourage every individual to realise their full potential.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Cert III in Disability Services or 12 months experience
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You)
- Working with Children Check (underage participants only)
- Driver's Licence
- Car Insurance
- Reliable vehicle
- Mandatory requirement: At least 1 year as a DSW in the NDIS sector
Additional Requirements
- Experience in acquired brain injury
- Experience in mental health
- Non-smokers only (essential due to participant triggers)
