About The Role
  • A Senior Quantity Surveyor plays a pivotal role in reviewing infrastructure projects listed in strategic plans, providing reliable cost estimates for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for infrastructure projects.
  • Validate and review cost inputs provided by external consultants or internal stakeholders to ensure consistency with current market rates and industry standards.
  • Offer cost advice to inform updates to strategic plans and support infrastructure planning.
  • Conduct high-level feasibility reviews and cost comparisons to support project prioritization.
  • Collaborate with project managers, planners, engineers, and asset managers to ensure proposed project scopes are clearly defined and costed appropriately.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in quantity surveying, cost consultancy, or construction management is essential.
  • A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Professional certification or membership with recognized bodies such as the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is desirable.

  • An attractive salary package ranging from $138,124.81 to $152,133.01 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
  • A Maximum-term contract of up to 12 months.
