System Operations Specialist

The System Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, integrity, and efficiency of all systems and networks within an organization.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the technological advancement of the business by managing, maintaining, and optimizing IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments to support the technological needs of the organization, particularly in ensuring seamless system operations.

  • Administer and maintain server and network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and security protocols.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
  • Implement and manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and data integrity measures.
  • Configure and deploy new hardware and software solutions according to organizational standards.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain system security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Document processes, configurations, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as required.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, proven experience as a System Operations Specialist or in a similar role, and strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking protocols.
