Infrastructure Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain ICT systems supporting critical infrastructure projects such as tunnel automation and intelligent transport systems.

The successful candidate will have expertise in infrastructure automation, cloud technologies, and system integration. You will work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers to improve efficiency and deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement on-premise virtualization environments using VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and related technologies.
  • Plan, design, and integrate complex ICT systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Deploy, configure, test, and upgrade VMware virtualization solutions for optimal performance.
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data protection.
  • Manage SAN/NAS storage solutions to support virtualization infrastructure.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot networking and ICT system issues effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, implementing security controls.
  • Use scripting and automation tools to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in infrastructure systems, including VMware environments.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and networking.
  • Experience with backup solutions like Nakivo.
  • Networking expertise (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs).
  • Experience with SAN/NAS storage solutions.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge, including IEC 62443 standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Certifications such as VCP, MCSE, RHCE/RHCSA, CCNA/CCNP are preferred.
