Financial Crime Risk Manager: Protect and Control

The Financial Crime Risk and Controls team is responsible for managing the bank's financial crime risks. The role of a Financial Crime Risk Manager is to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with financial crime.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of the risk management function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to prevent and detect financial crime.

You will work closely with various teams across the business to ensure that all risk management processes are in place and functioning effectively. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies;
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to design and implement risk management controls;
  • Providing training and guidance to staff on financial crime risk management;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial crime risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Strong knowledge of financial crime risk management principles and practices;
  • Proven experience in risk management or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
