The role involves processing, maintaining and distributing reusable medical devices required by Operating Theatres and Wards. This includes collecting contaminated reusable medical devices from wards and designated departments, packaging equipment for sterilisation, assisting with validation and routine control of decontamination and sterilisation process, attending to the transportation, storage, rotation and handling of supplies, monitoring decontamination/sterilisation process, and checking and maintaining all reprocessing and sterilisation records.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Certificate 111 in Sterilisation, along with:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in sterilisation within a hospital setting
  • A strong customer service-orientated mindset
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A methodical approach to work and a high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to comply with quality standards, policy and procedures

This is a casual role, working varied shifts across a 5 day roster between 6:30am and 11:00pm. You must be available to work flexibly during these hours.
