Drive Growth in Queensland's Infrastructure Sector

This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned Business Development Manager to join a leading infrastructure contractor and contribute to the company's sustainable growth in the Queensland market. The successful candidate will take charge of identifying and converting new business opportunities across public and private sector clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow a robust pipeline of projects exceeding $50M across Queensland, focusing on transport infrastructure, water and wastewater, renewables, and social infrastructure.
  • Engage directly with government clients, utility providers, and major contractors to position the business as a partner of choice.
  • Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and delivery functions to shape bid strategies.
  • Lead opportunity pursuit through Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Tender (RFTs), and direct negotiations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regional priorities, and emerging opportunities across infrastructure and energy.
  • Represent the business at key industry forums, tender briefings, and stakeholder meetings.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in business development, estimating, or project leadership roles within the civil infrastructure space. They should have demonstrated success winning work in Queensland across road, rail, water, energy, or defence markets. A strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and technical credibility are essential for this role.
