Sustainability Analyst Position

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our Net Zero goals.

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Analyst to join our Environmental Management Group's Sustainability team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to delivering innovative projects that support the NSW Government's sustainability objectives.

About the Role

This position supports the identification, implementation, management, and review of programs and projects designed to help PDNSW and its agency stakeholders meet their obligations under the Net Zero Government Operations Policy (NZGO) and other relevant sustainability policies and frameworks.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and plans for Property and Development NSW and other NSW Government agencies to achieve their Net Zero ambitions.
  • Support ongoing sustainability monitoring and performance for PDNSW's property portfolio including certifications in NABERS, Green Star, and Climate Active.
  • Utilize data analytics, BMS insights, IoT, and other smart monitoring systems to drive operational efficiencies and identify improvement strategies.
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation, particularly energy, water, waste, indoor environment, and circularity.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of Green Star, NABERS, and Climate Active certifications.
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles of circularity and net zero.

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or other relevant disciplines are required.
