We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team.
This is a busy role that requires a motivated individual with great time management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and inspections of rooms and grounds.
- Conducting thorough inspections and reporting any faults or issues to the relevant authorities.
- Providing timely and effective responses to all maintenance-related queries and requests.
- Assisting guests with their queries and requirements, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent multitasking skills, enabling them to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- A proactive approach, with a focus on identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
- Previous experience within a hotel maintenance environment would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and make sound decisions in complex situations.
Flexibility is required to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Our Maintenance Officer will be measured against the following key performance indicators:
- Timeliness and efficiency in completing maintenance tasks.
- Quality of work delivered, ensuring a high standard of repair and maintenance.
- Effective communication with colleagues, management, and guests.
- Adherence to health and safety protocols and procedures.
