Maintenance Officer Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team.

This is a busy role that requires a motivated individual with great time management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and inspections of rooms and grounds.
  • Conducting thorough inspections and reporting any faults or issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Providing timely and effective responses to all maintenance-related queries and requests.
  • Assisting guests with their queries and requirements, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent multitasking skills, enabling them to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • A proactive approach, with a focus on identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Previous experience within a hotel maintenance environment would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and make sound decisions in complex situations.

Flexibility is required to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
