This role will enhance your technical abilities and strengthen the reputation of our Mine Advisory team. You will work collaboratively across borders and disciplines, joining a leading team with unparalleled expertise in their field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for tailings design studies on complex projects globally.
- Review and refine work deliverables, taking on critical roles as required.
- Interface with key stakeholders and external experts to provide expert recommendations and conflict resolution.
- Lead comprehensive risk assessments, including Quantitative Risk Assessment.
- Develop innovative solutions meeting client standards and global guidelines.
- Proactively manage risks during design processes related to cost estimation for feasibility and detailed projects.
- Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
About This Opportunity
- Bachelor of Engineering qualifications in Civil or Mining Engineering.
- Proven experience working on tailings/mine waste projects locally or internationally, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently independently and within a team environment, particularly on multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create novel solutions.
- Passion for balancing innovation, quality, and technical excellence with timely delivery.
- Understanding of local and international guidelines, best practices, and client standards.
