Expert Tailings Engineering Professional

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior level engineer to join our mine advisory team in Singleton, Australia. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in tailings design and be able to provide technical direction on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership on tailings design studies, including review and approval of technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients and external experts to develop complex recommendations and resolve conflicts.
- Lead risk assessments, including quantitative risk assessment, to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Develop solutions that meet client-based standards and international guidelines.
- Mentor junior engineers within the team.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in tailings design, including design studies and feasibility studies.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in geotechnical engineering, hydrology, and mining engineering.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
