Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budgets to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Business Analysis and Decision Support: Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and optimize resource utilization.
  • General Accounting / Payables / Receivables: Oversee the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Cost Accounting: Develop and implement cost accounting systems to optimize resource utilization and minimize costs.
  • Capital/Asset Planning (IS, Facilities & PSO): Manage capital expenditure and asset planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Managing Currency Exposure: Develop and implement strategies to manage currency risk and optimize cash flows.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years progressive experience in FMCG or related industries, culminating in a leadership role.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, CIMA, CA).
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, graduate degree a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Passionate, high-energy leader with ability to build, motivate and develop a high-performance team.
  • Ability to interpret data, trends and insights and be decisive to drive business decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively and influence within a Leadership Team.
  • Solid financial planning and analysis skills.
  • Strong Knowledge of US GAAP / Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls.
  • ERP Systems and Reporting systems (HFM/Essbase preferred).
  • Microsoft Office.
