Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Clinical Development Specialist. This position requires a strong background in paediatric patient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality treatment and procedural skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for paediatric patients and their families.
  • Contribute to continuing education initiatives and serve as a clinical resource for self and peers.
  • Manage complex cases independently, utilizing advanced assessment and treatment skills.

Requirements:

  • A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience, including paediatrics, neonatology, anaesthetics, and paediatric intensive care.
  • A minimum of 12 months of critical care experience, including 6 months in paediatric or neonatal intensive care or retrieval services.

Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Advanced assessment and treatment skills, including cannulation, high-level airway management, chest tube thoracostomy, and central line placement.
