Job Title

 

As a Sea Freight Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of export sea freight operations and customer service. This role involves delivering excellence in compliance and administration to ensure client satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage client and shipment communications effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Thoroughly manage and complete shipping documentation.
- Track all shipments, including transhipments.
- Provide high-level customer service.
- Liaise with international agents, suppliers, and consignees.
- Coordinate cartage for all LCL FCL and FAK transport.
- Invoicing.
- Confirm receipt of and receive original HBL from consignee, including packing list, packing declaration, commercial invoice, and Dangerous Goods Certificate.
- Perform other duties as required by the Branch Manager.

 

Requirements:

- Proven experience in export sea freight operations.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- High-level communication skills - verbal and written.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Experience in processing and completing all shipping documents.
- Familiarity with CargoWise knowledge and experience.
