Export Sea Freight Operator

An experienced Export Sea Freight Operator is required to manage export sea bookings from pick up through to final invoice in South West Sydney.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receiving export shipments bookings
  • Booking freight with airlines/forwarders
  • Arranging transport/cartage
  • Negotiating freight rates
  • Preparing quotations for clients and overseas agents
  • Preparing export documentation/clearance
  • Approving supplier invoices & entering charges
  • Liaising with clients, overseas agents, airlines, freight forwarders and internal departments
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Familiarity with export air processes
  • CargoWise experience highly desirable
  • DG certification highly regarded preferred
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Team player
