Underground Mining Site Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Underground Mining Site Manager to lead our underground operations team at Telfer.

Job Description:

As an experienced Underground Mining Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of underground mining operations.

You will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth, improve safety performance, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering a proactive safety culture aligned with our organization's values.
  • Providing appropriate resources and supervision for safe task execution.
  • Conducting regular inspections, audits, and field leadership engagements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Successful candidates must have:

  • A WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate.
  • Strong underground planning background.
  • Techncial proficiency in mining various types of orebodies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
