About the Role

As a Residential Youth Caregiver with Edmen, you will have the opportunity to empower children and young people to live their best lives, in a nurturing and safe environment.

  • Establish a secure and nurturing home environment for at-risk young people.
  • Offer guidance and support with personal care requirements including meal assistance and hygiene routines.
  • Provide transportation for school, appointments and community activities.
  • Foster the development of skills and socialisation within the local community.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Work, Social Work or similar (or be studying towards).
  • Australian Drivers Licence (P2 or higher).
  • Blue card & Yellow card.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • 3 months paid experience as a Residential Youth Worker.
