Job Opportunity: Front Office Leader

The hotel seeks an experienced leader to join the Front Office team in a full-time capacity.

  • Resolve guest complaints and address their challenges effectively
  • Lead by example when attending to guest requests, demonstrating exceptional service standards
  • Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers using a property management system
  • Support the food and beverage department during all day services as required
  • Respond to guest reviews on online platforms
  • Perform general front office administration duties efficiently
  • Enter and reconcile daily accounting data accurately
  • Develop and motivate the Front Office team to achieve excellence
  • Act as a role model for the Front Office team members
  • Experience in a similar leadership role within a 4-5 star hotel environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills, communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • Previous experience with a property management system preferably Opera and MICROS
  • A friendly and outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high computer literacy and accuracy
  • Attention to detail and understanding of basic accounting processes
  • A strong background knowledge in both Front Office and Reservations
  • Senior First Aid Certificate and RSA certification
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, late evenings, and overnight shifts as required
  • Unlimited work rights in Australia
