Job Title:

Manager Vehicle Safety and Technology

">Description:

This is a highly skilled leadership role that requires advanced specialist knowledge in vehicle safety and standards, future vehicle technology, and relevant policies and initiatives.

The successful candidate will provide effective people leadership, support team capability uplift and growth, and deliver on the services required by Road Safety Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality advice to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate must have a bachelor degree or higher in mechanical or automotive engineering or a relevant discipline admitting to membership of Engineers Australia.

Extensive relevant experience and project management or policy experience are also essential.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in vehicle development, vehicle safety regulations, and the automotive industry would be highly desirable.

Knowledge of road safety policy and Safe Systems approach would also be beneficial.
