Vehicle Inspector Role Overview

A key component of maintaining vehicle safety and integrity is the role of a vehicle inspector. Conducting thorough inspections to identify defects or issues is an essential part of this job.

This position allows for independence, with employees managing their own schedules and daily activities. The freedom to work in your own vehicle, near home, and within standard business hours with occasional Saturdays makes it an attractive option.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Visually examining vehicles for mobile and/or fixed site inspections
  • Documenting inspection outcomes for customers via our digital app
  • Contacting customers to book appointments and liaising with owners, sellers, and buyers about inspections
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a qualified mechanic with post-apprenticeship accreditation
  • Ideal experience working with a variety of motor vehicles
  • A customer-centric approach and ability to provide exceptional service
  • A current, unrestricted NSW driver's license
  • Flexibility to work some Saturdays as required
