**About the Role**

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Implement HSE policies, procedures and systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation
- Drive continuous improvement of HSE performance through identification and management of HSE risks
- Provide leadership and guidance to stakeholders
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards
- Oversee incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Deliver HSE training programs
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics
- Communicate and promote the Company's HSE strategic plan and assist site management in facilitating HSE consultation processes
- Attend and develop materials/ provide data for HSE Meetings/ HSE Toolbox (Pre-start) Meetings
- Undertake HSE system and compliance audits, third-party external audits, including self-insurance and certification audits
- Conduct incident investigations

**To be great in this role you**:

- 5+ years of practical experience in an HSE role with a focus on warehousing, transport and Logistics
- Experience in third-party audits and corrective action planning
- Knowledge of HSE legislation, AS4801, ISO45001 & ISO14001
- Excellent written and communication skills, and write high-quality reports
- Experience in conducting incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others including legislators, external auditors, accreditation bodies, industry experts

**Qualifications** - Education and/or professional
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Environmental Management (desirable)
- Internal Auditor qualifications
