Job Opportunity

Early Career Geotechnical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and oversee the installation of geotechnical instruments in the field (e.g., piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers).
  • Perform regular data collection, validation, and analysis.
  • Interpret monitoring results to assess ground and structural behavior.
  • Generate reports and provide geotechnical input to project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the field.
  • Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to support decision-making.
Requirements:
  • A degree in geotechnical or civil engineering, or similar.
  • Experience gained in geotechnical engineering and instrumentation and monitoring systems is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Personal time management and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility to travel (remote areas and interstate), strong collaboration skills along with the confidence to work individually when required.
