Key Responsibilities:
- Perform geotechnical analyses and designs, including slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, and deep foundation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental engineers, project management, geotechnical technician, and construction professionals
- Conduct field investigations, including drilling supervision, sampling, and in-situ testing
- Develop geotechnical models, interpret subsurface conditions, and prepare detailed engineering reports
- Provide technical guidance and support for construction activities, such as earthworks, excavation, and foundation installation
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise in geotechnical engineering through training, research, and professional development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
- 4 year of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on field testing and reporting writing (preferred)
- Proficiency in geotechnical software, such as PLAXIS, FLAC, or GeoStudio (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Willingness to travel and work in various field conditions as needed
- Valid driver's license
- Rail Industry Safety Induction (RISI)
- Experience with Microsoft word, excel and outlook
