Geotechnical Engineer Leadership Role Overview

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead our geotechnical service line and provide technical leadership to the national team.

This is a senior leadership position where you will be responsible for providing strategic and technical guidance, driving project delivery, growing client relationships, mentoring the team, and supporting the wider national geotechnical team.

You will have the opportunity to lead the growth of our geotechnical service line, manage a team, and work with offices across the country as part of a multidisciplinary consultancy.

  • Provide technical leadership for proposals, investigations, design, and reporting.
  • Lead and manage geotechnical projects, ensuring effective coordination of internal teams, contractors, budgets, and client relationships.
  • Build and strengthen client networks, partnering with business development leads to expand the geotechnical service line nationally.
  • Manage, mentor, and support the development of geotechnical staff, building technical depth and leadership capability within the team.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of our geotechnical services, collaborating with engineering and environmental leaders across the business.
