A Domestic Support Specialist Wanted

We are seeking dedicated individuals to support vulnerable people in their own homes.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others and has the ability to undertake domestic/housekeeping tasks to a satisfactory standard.

The successful applicant will work closely with clients, building trust and confidence, and encouraging them to be as independent as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Inspiring clients to participate in their care, encouraging them to undertake what they can and assisting where they require support
  • Developing and maintaining an awareness of the support needs of each client to ensure appropriate person-centered services are provided
  • Undertaking routine administrative tasks on relevant documentation

About You:

  • Ability to undertake domestic/housekeeping tasks to a satisfactory standard
  • Effective interpersonal skills to build trust, confidence, and rapport with clients
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) to ensure effective service delivery
  • Ability to prioritize work and work alone within a home or out in the community

  • Dominic Assistant: per hour (Casual) & (Perm)
  • Plus Super and travel allowance

Shifts & Rosters:
