Speech Pathologist Role
  • This position involves providing culturally responsive services to children and adults funded under NDIS, Aged Care, or MBS programs.

Care will be delivered in homes, community settings, and multidisciplinary team facilities, with strong support from the team.

You'll provide speech and language assessments & interventions, support clients, families & carers with education, and work alongside a multi-disciplinary team.

Your focus will include promoting speech services within the organization and the broader community, and contributing to service quality and improvement.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology, SPA registration and membership, 3+ years experience, strong interpersonal and cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work independently in remote or regional settings.

A highly regarded candidate will also have experience with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, background in disability and/or aged care sectors, and familiarity with the BRAMS Model of Care.
