Your Role in the SpotlightThe Business Development Manager is a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality and a flair for building lasting relationships. This role is focused on driving business growth across key market segments including wholesale, inbound, retail travel, corporate, and MICE.
- Manage and grow top-tier accounts.
- Develop new business across all segments, identifying high-value opportunities for the hotel and region.
- Collaborate with national and property-based account managers to maximise group-wide performance.
- Lead presentations and negotiations with consortia, travel agents, and conference organisers.
- Drive yield management strategies to ensure long-term profitability.
- Weekly and monthly reporting and quotations
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales calls, site inspections and industry events.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
