Business Development Opportunity

The role of Business Development Manager is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth across key market segments, including wholesale, inbound, retail travel, corporate, and MICE. As a strategic thinker with a passion for hospitality and a flair for building lasting relationships, you will be instrumental in shaping our commercial success while promoting Adelaide as a premier destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow top-tier accounts.
  • Develop new business across all segments, identifying high-value opportunities for the hotel and region.
  • Collaborate with national and property-based account managers to maximise group-wide performance.
  • Lead presentations and negotiations with consortia, travel agents, and conference organisers.
  • Drive yield management strategies to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting and quotations
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales calls, site inspections, and industry events.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations to align on strategy and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sales, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
