About this Aviation Tanker Driver Opportunity

This position presents a long-term contract with a services provider in the Defence sector, situated at Williamtown RAAF Base in the NSW Hunter Region.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Operate fuel tanker trucks around the fuel installation and defence base to ensure efficient delivery of fuel to aircraft.
  • Collaborate closely with the operator to safely load the fuel tank truck with the required fuel.
  • Deliver fuel to designated refuelling points or aircraft on the runway.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to maintain high-quality customer service experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a current MC/HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence.
  • Demonstrate proven experience operating heavy vehicles.
  • Prior experience in fuel service and/or defence industry is highly regarded.
  • Display excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse team environments.
  • Hold relevant security clearances or be able to obtain them.
