
Supportive Homemaker

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide high-quality care and support services to our clients in their own homes.
The main objective of this role is to empower clients to live independently, improving their social lives and helping them feel part of society.
We cater to the unique needs of each individual, providing dementia care, domestic support, companionship and socialisation, personal care, post-operative care, disability support, and skilled nursing services.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and as part of a team, providing care and support services to clients in their own homes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living tasks such as showering, dressing, medication management, and assisting with mobility
- Provide domestic assistance duties, including light cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry
- Offer social support duties, including transportation to shopping, medical appointments, and social outings
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
- Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or Disability Services/completed 1st year of a Nursing degree
- Satisfactory Australian National Police Check
- Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate
- Smart mobile phone
- Ability to provide personal and domestic care with joy and kindness
- Empathy is essential
- A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- High level of time management and organisational ability
- Willingness to participate in further training and education opportunities
