About the Position
This is a part-time ongoing position within our dermatology department. You will have acquired the expert knowledge base, complex decision-making skills, and clinical competencies for expanded practice. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive health assessments, managing episodes of care, and developing child and family-focused plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate critical thinking to conduct holistic health assessments.
- Accountable for timely and considered use of diagnostic investigations.
- Manage episodes of care, establishing culturally respectful relationships with children and families.
- Develop comprehensive plans, collaborating with community healthcare providers where relevant.
- Deliver clinical educational training for nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Current endorsement as Nurse Practitioner by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Completed Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner or equivalent qualification.
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
