The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) is a cornerstone member of the Melbourne Children's Campus, partnering with Murdoch Children's Research Institute and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics.
RCH has cared for children and young people of Victoria for over 150 years since its founding in 1870. A full range of paediatric health services are provided, including tertiary and quaternary care for critically ill and medically complex patients.
RCH offers world-class facilities, surrounded by Royal Park and a short tram trip from Melbourne city centre.
This Part Time Ongoing position within Dermatology requires a registered nurse with expertise in paediatric dermatology, autonomous practice skills and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to assess and manage children and families.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner or equivalent qualification, completed a Therapeutic Medication Management module, and be currently endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive, relevant and holistic health assessments of children and their families
- Use diagnostic investigations to inform clinical decision-making and manage episodes of care
- Develop and implement child- and family-focused plans in collaboration with community healthcare providers
