Job Description">

The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager is responsible for ensuring awareness of and compliance with established HSE standards and requirements. He/she develops and manages operational HSE plans aimed at implementing, monitoring, and improving HSE policies and standards to minimize risks and enhance HSE performance.

This role ensures a connection between HSE and business operations, guaranteeing all activities are performed in full compliance with relevant regulations, and that incidents and accidents are prevented.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Manage HSE Plans: Create and execute annual HSE plans, budgets, objectives, and goals; oversee their implementation after approval.
  2. Risk Management and Compliance: Implement emergency and occupational safety measures, conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits, and investigations, and initiate corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  3. Training and Advice: Ensure all relevant HSE training programs are in place and conducted. Provide insights and advice on HSE developments through reports and analyses to facilitate informed management decisions.
  4. Project Involvement: Participate in capital projects to incorporate HSE standards throughout project phases and designs.
  5. HSE Performance Reporting: Analyze KPIs and indicators, and report on HSE performance and progress.
  6. Incident Management: Oversee incident activities, lead investigations of serious incidents, and manage crises effectively.
