Key Role Details

This is a maternity relief position for a Speech Pathologist to join our paediatric team. As a passionate Speech Pathologist, you will provide comprehensive speech pathology assessments and interventions to children and their families across multiple settings.

About the Position

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver evidence-based care plans tailored to the unique needs of each child. Main Responsibilities
  • Comply with the Speech Pathology Australia Scope of Practice.
  • Provide high-level, client-centred care in interactions with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring care meets professional, organizational, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Manage paediatric caseloads, excelling in assessment, diagnosis, and management.
  • Effectively handle caseloads, adhering to departmental clinical procedures and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the professional network, engage in ongoing education and training, and participate in regular professional practice supervision.
  • Participate in clinical research activities as required.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and business plan activities to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
