Key Role: Operational and Financial Performance Manager

This senior leadership role involves overseeing the operational and financial performance of a business unit, driving business growth through data analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Develop and present timely, accurate, and reliable financial reports to stakeholders, including weekly steering committee documents and monthly business performance reviews.
  • Present key financial and operational insights to inform strategic decisions, recommending solutions to address problems or situations.
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the solar and broadband business units, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
  • Lead a team of professionals in developing staff through coaching and mentoring, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to support strategy development and analysis efforts for new opportunities and existing development assets.
  • Communicate outputs from financial and commercial analysis through presentations and written materials.

Requirements:

CA/CPA qualified professional with experience in business partnering roles, possessing expert analytical skills and sound technical accounting knowledge.

  • Proven experience leading and motivating teams, with a focus on staff development and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to question and interpret results, seeking answers that justify outcomes.
  • Good understanding of key controls and a proactive approach to identifying problems and finding solutions.
  • Collaborative working style and excellent communication skills.
