Financial Performance Manager Position

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Financial Performance Manager to join our organisation and contribute to the success of our commercial leasing arrangements.
  • You will be responsible for managing financials, analysing results, and providing insights to stakeholders to inform decision making.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in financial performance management. They will also possess knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

As a Financial Performance Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to increase efficiency. You will work closely with the Management Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide support to key stakeholders through data-driven insights.

This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and manage budgeting and financial policies, ensuring compliance with legal standards. You will prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, analyse financial data, and conduct audits related to business operations, commercial leases, capital investments, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Management Accounting team in completing an accurate and timely month-end close.
  • Analyse monthly results and liaise with stakeholders to identify favourable and unfavourable variances against forecast.
  • Assist with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, including investigation of material reconciling items.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial performance management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
